It’s now time for the pruning !

Since a few days, the first pruning is finished. Growers have reduced the size of the canes. It permits to treat the vines more easily. But also to delay the final pruning by reducing the risks of frost, specially for the vines less exposed to the sun.

These frosts could distort the hatching of buds through the pruning wound.

It’s now the final pruning which begins. Growers cut all the useless canes. It’s a delicat and important work for the future harvest.
